At Hilights Southern Ltd, we take pride in our continued involvement in some of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Most recently, our team completed critical street lighting and motorway infrastructure works on the M4 Smart Motorway upgrade (Junctions 3–12)—a major undertaking requiring precise coordination, strict safety adherence, and seamless integration with live traffic systems.

In the renewable sector, we have successfully delivered cable installation services for multiple utility-scale solar farms, with capacities ranging from 35 MW to 80 MW, helping accelerate the UK’s shift toward sustainable energy.

Our Civils Team has also been actively involved in a number of trenching, ducting, and reinstatement projects for both local authorities and principal contractors. From installing CCTV bases and electrical cabinets to delivering complete groundworks for lighting and telecom infrastructure, we continue to provide reliable, high-quality solutions across a diverse portfolio of work.
